How to participate in a DEGA ISPO

DEGA is not responsible if you delegate to unauthorized pools.
Make sure to always obtain Pool ID and Hash information from official DEGA sources.


Participating in the Cardano DEGA ISPO Pool
To participate in the DEGA ISPO you would need the following:

  1. A Cardano wallet. You can use your preferred wallet to participate. If you don't have one,  we recommend the "Yoroi Wallet" for simplicity.

  2. $ADA tokens.

Using your wallet, search for the DEGA ISPO Pool in Cardano. We have provided some examples below.

  • Name: DEGA ISPO

  • Ticker: DEGA1

  • Pool ID: pool14rnkjjate6rqa7f9xmezgwne99n8hlahg7ymcyhzkhus758r3h7

  • Hash: a8e7694babce860ef92536f2243a7929667bffb74789bc12e2b5f90f

 

After selecting the DEGA Pool, choose the amount that of $ADA you wish to delegate.


BE ADVISED: The amount you delegate can affect your bonuses! You must delegate 200 $ADA or more to receive time-based bonuses.

Make sure to always obtain the Smart Contract Address from official DEGA sources.


Participating in the DEGA ETH ISPO
To participate in the DEGA ETH ISPO you will need the following:

  1. An Ethereum wallet. You can use your preferred wallet to participate. If you don't have one,  we recommend "Metamask" for simplicity.

  2. $stETH tokens. To get stETH we recommend going here.

 

Go to DEGA DASHBOARD and follow these instructions:

  1. Click on the ETH ISPO Link at the top of the page.

  2. Connect your wallet.

  3. Make sure you have Ethereum Mainnet selected for your network.

  4. You need to have stETH for the staking amount and ETH for the gas fee. 

  5. Select the amount you want to stake.

  6. Proceed with approving and confirming the transaction.

  7. Once you complete the transaction you can validate it by reviewing the Transaction ID.

NOTE: To see your DEGA rewards you need to wait at least 24 hours. The DEGA team needs to execute a number of technical steps to snapshot the ETH blockchain, do some accounting, and then post rewards to the dashboard.

Participate: Meld

Participating in the DEGA MELD ISPO
To participate in the DEGA MELD ISPO you will need the following:

  1. A MELD wallet. 

  2. $MELD tokens. To get MELD we recommend going here.

Go to the MELD App and follow these instructions:

  1. Log in with your wallet.

  2. You need MELD Tokens on MELD Mainnet for the staking amount and gMELD for the gas fee. 

  3. Select the “Staking” tab.

  4. Select the “Available Pools” from the right-hand options.

  5. Select the “MELD Pools” Option.

  6. Search for the “DEGA1” Pool and select.

  7. Click on the “Stake” Button at the bottom of the screen.

  8. Enter the Amount of MELD you want to stake and the tier.

  9. Click and “Stake” Button and Confirm the transaction.

  10. Once you complete the transaction you can validate it by reviewing the Transaction ID.

NOTE: To see your DEGA rewards you need to wait to end of the epoch (Epoch takes 5 days each). The DEGA team needs to execute a number of technical steps to snapshot the MELD blockchain, do some accounting, and then post rewards to the dashboard.
